Camping wasn't so great this weekend. Chad didn't bring a mattress to sleep on. The ground and all the rocks were not so comfortable! My hips are still sore, and I'm pretty sure I didn't sleep the entire night. At one point I wanted to bawl. I've never wanted my own bed so bad. No more camping with out proper bedding! Or a trailer.
On a differnt note I'm thinking about painting my bed black. It is that light colored pine and I'm sick of it. But I don't want to mess it up plus I have the big amoir to paint too. Anyone have any tips? If I was rich I would just get a whole new bedroom set. Laurie did you ever paint yours? I'll have to call you.
Well I'm excited to say that my computer will be done tommorro. Stupid AOL messed it up big time and it was harder for them to fix than they anticipated. I miss my little computer! Out of habbit I keep going into my computer room and forget its gone! Sad!

Hi Annie, I'm glad I get to view your blog, I just need to learn how to limit my blog surfing. Am I the "Laurie" you are talking about? I'm thinking maybe we have the same bed, do we? I have thought about painting it quite a bit, but I haven't. I did paint that little hutch in my dining room black though. It was just ugly oak and it painted good I thought. I know what you mean though, I get nervous to do things for fear I will ruin them and then, dang what would I do? Hahaha
Yo Annie - I have a black bed that used to be white - courtesy of Pottery Barn. I had one of the guys here at work paint it on their own time & it cost me $100. Totally cheap & no brush strokes from me doing it on my own. He had me sand it - so I tried to make his job a little easier. I love it now. If you are interested let me know!
