With the holiday I got a little thrown off and kind of missed my long time pal Laurie's birthday. Sorry chicka! I still love you! I hope you had a fabulous birthday! Laurie and I have been friends since the 7th grade. She is hilarious! Kept me very entertained over the past 13 years. {holy cow that's a long time}. She is such loyal friend. We always laugh about our names hers is Laurie Ann Nelson and mine is now Annie Laurie Nelson. Kind of funny.
I wish I could see her more often but being how we live at opposite ends of the state that makes it pretty hard. We must be getting old because every time we talk on the phone we talk about the good ol' days and all the crazy stuff we did. Keep in mind we were very sheltered girls so when I say crazy I'm talking toilet papering, "poo dollars", water ballooning and such. Which leads me back to the famous water ballooning night where we got caught by the police. Bad night they made me take a breathalyzer test because I had red eyes or something lame. Everyone in the truck was laughing their heads off because I was probably the least likely person in the group to drink. The night just got worse because on the way home Laurie rolled her car and broke her femur. I felt so bad for her I ended up sleeping on the floor at the hospital. But she was one tough girl. She was back to running the second it healed. Anyway I just wanted to tell her happy happy!
I'm glad we have kept in touch all these years. You are in so many of my favorite memories I will always treasure that.
